its been awhile since i've updated. i appologize. i had bad case of art block, and as always, i'm constantly busy with school and helping my dad around the house with home improvement projects. i'm also working on another flash, so i've had less time to work on pictures.

part of my issues included the frustrations of trigonometry. i had gotten through one booklet, and half-way through a second, when i suddenly came to a part i could not complete without a graphing calculator. i had to run out to best buy right before they closed so i could get a calculator. they probably had a dozen different models. we got something that was better then a highschool model, but not something an astro-physicist would use, so i could use it through college. i'm just perturbed that i should have to use something like that at all. my parents didn't need a graphing calculator to get through trig in COLLEGE. what's changed?

then all leave started falling, and they had to be raked. we have A LOT trees, so this was a multiple weekend affair. the pile of leaves that we created was huge. it was bigger then me. of course, with all things labor related, i end up getting roped in. i even got a blister on my hand from the raking.

since about early august, my dad has been rewiring the bedroom half of the house. the wiring hadn't been changed in 50 years, and none of it was grounded. he's been pulling out old wiring, replacing it, cutting new holes in the walls for new outlets, installing hurricane clips in the frame of the house so we're more wind damage resistant, and terminating wires in the outlets so they function. my favorite (sarcasm) day was when i had to stand on an old rickety wooden ladder while holding a 20 pound fan motor over my head so my father could reattach it to the ceiling. oh yeah, i suppose i failed to mention i did that 3 times. but the best (more sarcasm) day was when we were without power for 6 hours because he was rearranging the circuits and electrical boards in the basement.

just today, my mouse fried. it was about 2 1/2 years old, and it finally gave up the ghost. i dug up an old one i had gotten free somewhere. it still has a roller ball, and has no wheel.
